Class 1 – You Were Justified

“Justified” is a legal term that means one has been declared “just” or righteous. In God’s sight all were sinners and could only pay for that sin in an eternal hell. Jesus Christ stepped in and paid the debt with his blood on the cross. When you trust in Christ, his payment is applied to your sins and God declares you to be “justified” – just-as-if you had never sinned! Your account is forever clean before God
