Jesus death on the cross was 100% sufficient in and of itself to obtain our salvation. Our good
works play NO part in obtaining our salvation, neither do they play ANY role in maintaining our salvation!

This truth can further be seen in the fact that Jesus continues to this day in the role of an
intercessor on our behalf – He is the One that maintains our salvation, not we.
