Class 4 – Passages that Emphasize the Fruit of Salvation

The genuine believer will manifest spiritual fruit in his life as God works through him. As stated
previously, such a believer may fall out of fellowship with God or, as the believers in Corinth, they may be
very carnal (fleshly) – I Cor. 3:1. However, it is inescapable that the true believer will manifest some
change in his life and will show some fruit versus the mere false professor of salvation who never shows
any sign of change or spiritual fruit. Some passages with this context in mind are misapplied to teach loss
of salvation if the production of spiritual fruit is not maintained.
